We can use various tools to create videocasts.

Screencastify is a Chrome add-on that integrates with Google Docs.

Jing is a very useful free tool that allows you to create a narrated videocast of your desktop that
you can post on the internet and share with others. You can save a file on your computer, upload
it to Screencast.com or share it on YouTube.

Screencast-O-Matic is another videocasting application that works well.
You can record your screen and your webcam and then upload it to YouTube.

Possibly the simplest service for recording webcasts is Google Hangouts. Use the Hangouts on Air function
to record your Pecha Kucha presentation. Your presentation will be available as a You Tube video. See

Online video is a very powerful educational tool with many creative possibilities for students and teachers.
One creative use is to "create your own adventure" linking multiple YouTube videos and allowing viewers
a choice of selections based on a decision.
